Learners will identify the eye hazards most likely to arise in their work environment, understand which type of eye protection to use and how to wear and care for it correctly, and know exactly what to do if an eye injury occurs — including chemical splash, foreign objects, and impact injuries. First aid guidance is grounded in HSE best practice and covers when and how to contact the nominated first aider, the correct use of eyewash stations, and why prompt medical attention matters even when symptoms appear minor.
