Globally, one in three women and one in four men will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime (World Health Organization, 2021). That means it is already present in your workplace, whether anyone has spoken about it or not. The question is not whether you will ever encounter it. The question is whether you will be ready when you do. This course gives managers and staff the awareness and practical tools to recognise signs of domestic abuse, respond to disclosures safely, and understand your organisation's responsibilities.
This course is suitable for all audiences.
-Recognise the signs that a colleague may be experiencing domestic abuse
-Respond to a disclosure in a way that is safe, non-judgemental, and helpful
-Apply your organisation's responsibilities when domestic abuse affects the workplace
